TFE organised the highest profile match in Imphal, Manipur in recent history. The match was between MDS Chargers XI consisting of the best players from Manipur and FPAI XI comprising of national team players and ex national team players from around India. For the first time since 1999 the entire stadium was packed to watch a football match. The match was to raise awareness about the potential of Manipur football. The match also raised funds for a year long youth program to be funded by Manipur Development Society, supported and conceptualized by TheFootballEdge.

Deportivo Saprissa participated in the IFA Shield 2013 with a mix of Reserve players as well as a couple of ex internationals in their team. The team from Costa Rica had previously won the CONCACAF Continental Championship and participated in the World Club Championship in 2005 in Japan. Walter Centeno the ex captain of the club and Costa Rica as well as a two time World Cup player played in the team that reached the Semi Finals of the IFA Shield.

Wellington Phoenix FC Tour of India 2012
Organised and facilitated Wellington Phoenix FC tour of India in August 2012. Wellington Phoenix FC is New Zealand Premier Football club that plays in the A-League. This was the first ever tour of an A-League club to India. The tour was for football development and concentrated in the North East Area of India which barely gets exposure to international football.

Carlos who was Australia League player of the season in 2009-10 has played for Costa Rica in the 2006 World Cup and is looking to play in the 2014 World Cup in Brasil.
